New Patients

We always welcome new patients. We would be pleased to have the opportunity to provide excellent dental care for you and your entire family. Your friends and co-workers are also welcome.

If you are visiting our office for the first time, we would be delighted to complete a new patient examination to determine an appropriate treatment plan for you. We ask that you arrive about 15 minutes early to complete a new patient questionnaire, register fully with our knowledgeable front desk staff and acquaint yourself with our facility.

Emergencies

We try to help patients in need by providing same day emergency care where possible. Our office is open six days a week for your convenience including Saturday and evening hours.

Appointment Policy

In order to provide a quality dental practice, appointments are required for all visits. We are not a walk-in clinic. Our staff will set a specific time for your dental visit, that ensures that you receive the appropriate and comprehensive oral care that you deserve and require. By adhering to a punctual schedule, we dedicate our staff and resources for your planned treatment. If you are unable to keep a scheduled appointment, we ask that you provide us with at least 48 hours notice, so that your previously reserved time may be given to another patient. Otherwise a charge will be applied.

Punctuality and timeliness are priorities in our practice. We understand that unexpected issues may arise that may cause a late arrival. If you do arrive late, we will attempt to accommodate the patient without disrupting our busy schedule. Unfortunately, if you arrive more than 10-15 minutes late, we will be unable to provide the planned treatment on that day. We respect your time and we ask that you reciprocate. We pride ourselves in running on time, where ever possible. Please recognize our requirement that you arrive on time or a few minutes early for your planned visit.

Insurance

Our treatment recommendations are based on years of professional dental experience, and are not based on insurance coverage. Please keep in mind that your insurance plan is a contract between you and the insurance carrier / your employer. As such, you are required to be responsible for your account, not the insurance carrier. We ask that you provide our front desk team with your policy numbers / coverage information. It is important that you inform us of any changes to your current dental insurance policy and personal information. Remember, quality dental treatment is a different contract between you, the patient and your dentist.

Where possible, we will assist you in optimizing the benefits available under your policy. In order to do so, please make certain your insurance information is always current.
As a courtesy to you, our office will submit your claims to your insurance carrier. We offer electronic submission (EDI) where possible to expedite the claim process. Most payments are processed in a few days rather than a few weeks.

When more extensive treatment is planned, we will send a detailed estimate or pre-determination to the insurance carrier(s) involved. In most cases, the response is sent to the insured / employee within 2-3 weeks. Please look for it in your mail or online and notify us when you have received your pre-determination, so that we may book the necessary appointments and expedite your treatment.

Payment Policy

We accept most insurance plans. All patients are expected to pay any portion of the cost of treatment not covered by their insurance plans (co-insurance) promptly. We require all accounts to be settled within 30 days from the date the claim is incurred.

We accept debit transactions and most major credit cards as a convenience to you.

We will be glad to customize a flexible payment plan, involving a series of post-dated payments over a period of up to 6 months, for credit worthy patients. We would be happy to discuss all payment options with you.

For accounts over 60 days, a 1% interest charge per month (12% per annum) is applied from the date of service. In order to avoid these charges, prompt payment is advised.
